18 today!

18 as of today, and honestly I don’t feel anything about it except maybe slightly older? Hmm. Used to really look forward to my birthdays but have been feeling rather indifferent about it lately. Oh well. Maybe it’s a growing old syndrome ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Nonetheless it’s Friday and finally the LAST weekday of the week๐ŸŽ‰ I pray that God will keep all of us positive and always rmbr to strive to glorify His name at all times ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ˜‡

The devil will always try to steal you away from God and keep you away from His ever-abounding grace, but where sin abounds, GRACE abounds even more๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ™Œย  always tell yourself that you’re the righteousness of God in Christ๐Ÿ’•

I hope that even as the tiring and perhaps torturous week comes to an end, we’ll all end it well and on a good note ya!๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’• times may be tough, you may feel weak, but this is when God is the strongest. So depend not on your strength but fully, entirely on HIS.โค๏ธ

Ps today’s a longggg day for me so might be celebrating tmr instead ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽˆ hmmm.๐Ÿ˜•

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 5:1-5, 20-21 NKJV)

weary? tired?

Good morning guys โ˜€๏ธ I find this verse really apt esp when many of us may alr find ourselves weary and tired after one busy month of work, tough month of recovery, and perhaps have had loads of challenges lined up in our way.

Well personally it has been tough for me too. Many tests coming up, ultra busy with school work. And still having to grapple with recovery difficulties, relationship issues, mood swings etc etc and the list goes on.๐Ÿ˜”

But God never fails to remind me that he’ll always be there to carry my burdens and carry me with Him as we walk through this journey of ups and downs. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™

Recovery can be tough. It is meant to be tough. Yet, It is supposed to help you grow stronger not just in courage but in faith too. Help yourselves realise that in whatever we do, in whatever that may happen, we cannot simply depend on our own strength, we cannot be self-righteous and feel that we need only our own works.

Instead let’s focus on allowing God to take charge, and depending entirely on His grace to carry us through.โค๏ธ

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:2-8 NKJV)

the love of God- irrevocable.โค๏ธ

If you’ve a pet ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿน and you love it so much, and know that it loves you very much too, would you bear to not show it affection? Or show love to your neighbour’s pet? Or even neglect it totally??

If you’ve a best friend๐Ÿ‘ญ, would you go to him/her only when you need them? Or judge her by how she looks or behaves??

Well I’m quite sure you know the answers. Similarly, we need to understand that God loves us so very much and He’ll never leave us nor forsake us. Neither will He judge us by what we do or how we behave cuz His blood has washed ALL our sins. โค๏ธ

Knowing His everlasting, irrevocable and such endearing love for us, the ones who do not deserve anything at all, how can we bear to do things that’ll upset Him? That’ll go against His desires and wishes for us? That’ll entertain the devil instead of focusing on Christ alone?๐Ÿ’’

The devil will always try to cloud our mind with countless number of evil and gross thoughts, trying so very hard to get us to defy and deny God in our words and actions.

BUT as children of God, always rmbr that we’ve Christ WITH us and IN us. ๐Ÿ’• in whatever we do, do not focus on what’s around us, what our feelings are or what are situations may or may not entail. Instead, focus on Him, our Heavenly Father. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ‘โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘ผ

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the worldโ€”the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of lifeโ€”is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.” (I John 2:15-17, 28-29 NKJV)
